1 cupcake tin
12 cupcake cases
1 Large metal spoon
- 200 g milk/dark or white chocolate
- 150 g mini-shredded wheats/cornflakes/rice krispies
- 1 tbsp syrup optional
- chocolate mini eggs to put in the crown.
Follow my recipe for Easter cupcakes then simply make the nests/crowns as below -
Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a heat proof bowl.
Sit the bowl on top of a pan a gently simmering water making sure that the bowl does not touch the water.
Stir frequently until the chocolate has melted.
In a large bowl place the cereal and add the melted chocolate.
Stir until the cereal is completely coated in chocolate.
Put the cereal mix into cupcake cases and make a small indentation for the egg.
Add the eggs and put the tray in the fridge to chill for around an hour.
Now place on top of your Easter cupcake to make a show stopping Easter crown cupcake.
