Fruity muesli

An excellent breakfast without any added sugar, plus it's quick to make and can be easily adapted.

Materials

  • 250 g porridge oats jumbo oats are great for this recipe.
  • 200 g chopped dates Buy them whole & chop them with scissors into small pieces.
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 25 g sunflower seeds
  • 25 g pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and stir thoroughly.
  • Then, pour into an air tight container.
  • The muesli will keep for several weeks.
  • Serve with your choice of milk & top with fresh fruit.
  • It's also delicious with natural or Greek yoghurt and a drizzle of honey. Feel free to use alternative ingredients such as, raisins, desiccated coconut, or even sprinkle in some chopped nuts; hazelnuts would work well.
