Muesli bars
By using my homemade muesli you can quickly and easily transform it into very tasty cereal bars.

1 Mixing bowl
1 traybake tin
1 Small saucepan
1 spoon
greaseproof paper
- 130 g my homemade muesli
- 80 g unsalted butter
- 50 g soft brown sugar
- 1.5 tbsp syrup or honey
Pre-heat the oven to 170 degrees fan & 190 non-fan
Line the traybake tin with greaseproof paper
Place the syrup, sugar and butter into a saucepan and gently melt on the hob.
Place the muesli into the mixing bowl and add the sugar mix. Combine thoroughly.
Spoon the mixture into the lined tin, pressing down with the back of a metal spoon to make everything compact.
Place in the oven for between 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and whilst it is still hot cut into slices. Leave to cool then break into individual bars.
Enjoy with a hot drink.
