Delicious ham for sandwiches and salads
Ingredients

Place the gammon joint into a large saucepan.

Pour in the orange juice, add the onion, carrot, bay leaves and cloves.

Bring the pan to the boil, then simmer gently for 45 minutes (remember allow 15 minutes per pound)

Remove from the pan carefully and place on a plate. The ham can be served hot, or leave to cool completely and serve sliced on a sandwich or in a salad.
