Spicy spaghetti

Meal ideas can be really tricky sometimes; often you’re too tired to even think what you want to eat, but you know you need food. This spicy spaghetti dish is here to help in those situations. Cook the spaghetti, fry some garlic and red chilli, add green olives and capers, a splash of passata, if you have it, and there it is, dinner, lunch or just a meal when you need something quick. Flavours such as garlic and chilli speak for themselves, coupled with tasty olives and capers you will never again be without a hot, healthy meal again.

Spicy spaghetti

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti as per the packet instructions while you make the spicy sauce.
  2. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan to a medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped chilli and fry gently for 1 minute.
  4. Reduce the heat slightly and add the garlic.
  5. Next add the olives, the capers and passata, stirring to combine increasing the heat slightly until the sauce is simmering gently.
  6. Now simply add the cooked spaghetti and serve immediately.
